This signature collection consists of hoodies, crewnecks and beanies featuring the NorQuest College crest, purposefully placed as a small patch on each piece of apparel. High quality garments with subtle details and custom labels were chosen and designed by me. A contrasting combination of vibrant colours (to reinforce the energetic and cheerful NorQuest brand) and neutral colours (to reflect streetwear basics) were chosen.

The intention of this collection was to create classic pieces that students, alumni and staff can enjoy and use for many years. When I began the ideation phase for this project, I knew I wanted to design apparel that didn’t follow the traditional “college hoodie” aesthetic (a large logo or program name in block letters across the chest). The final collection is minimalist, trend-forward, comfortable and practical.

I chose to incorporate “Be courageous” across the signature crewnecks. This phrase is one NorQuest Colleges’s guiding values—one that I envisioned NorQuester’s living by and being proud to wear.

Oh yeah, I got to play model too—that’s me in red! 😜
