NorQuest College Visual Identity
The NorQuest College rebrand was needed to broaden appeal, attract more learners, align with the college’s renewed strategic focus, and elevate public perception of colleges as critical drivers of economic growth.
The goal of this project was to redesign the visual identity of the college to reposition the brand with a bold new look and feel—dramatically changing how people view the college. It was crucial that visual identity made the college stand out from other post-secondary institutions and better represent who they were and who they wanted to become.
The objectives supported an approach to be bold and stand out from the crowd:
Create a strong sense of belonging
Visually lead in the post-secondary space by challenging traditional college ‘looks’
Determine a highly accessible font, available to all staff and stakeholders
Enhance and refine the colour palette to incorporate dynamic contrast
Develop a unique photography style unlike other post secondaries
Strengthen the logo design with legibility and scalability
Establish uniform and consistent visual identity guidelines
